Since 2003, ethnicity.de serves as an information platform, providing its visitors with a collection of web links to other online resources. The service is dedicated to a non-judgemental, social-science-based view on substance abuse and substance abuse treatment among ethnic minority communities and migrant populations from a transnational perspective.
Still, the topic appears to be largely underrepresented in academic and professional discourses, particularly in parts of Europe, although some major steps have been taken. It is the aim of this project to foster mutual understanding and learning by collecting links from various parts of the world.
